Managed People Solutions is looking to hire a Business Support Administrator in Finance for a very well-known Liquor Company based in Johannesburg, Gauteng

Purpose

The Business Support Administrator – Finance role is to support the Business Unit Manager with financial administration and reporting for the company. This role is responsible for administration of the payroll function for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all data entry into the Payroll system for new employees, employee changes and terminations. Ensure the integrity of the data on the payroll system.
  • Maintain the data on the ESS system with new employees, terminations and changes of employment. Assist employees with Password reset.
  • Payroll processing as per SOP. Reconciliations completed and monthly payroll filing managed and saved digitally
  • Maintain the data on the Pension Fund Portal with new employees, terminations, and changes of employment. Complete actuate monthly reconciliation to payroll.
  • Prepare monthly compensation & leave reports and upload into manager’s file.
  • Payslips to be uploaded to ESS on pay day. Create manual payslips and send to managers on payday
  • Prepare monthly payroll reconciliation for all external payments.
  • Ensure Purchase orders captured with correct general ledger account and cost centre. Prepare daily report of Purchase Orders awaiting approval.
  • Review Tender opportunities daily and report to Management Team.
  • Responsible for documenting various remuneration processes according to group standards.
  • Responsible for form management relating to financial procedures within MPS. Ensuring forms are in alignment with SOP and updated.

  • Responsible for form management relating to HR Administration and Remuneration. Ensuring forms are in alignment with SOP and updated.
  • Ensure group organisational charts are updated monthly with new, terminated and changes of employment. Organisational charts uploaded on D6 by the 3rd of the new month.
  • Update the divisional P&L report with authorised transactions. Ensure Weekly report is accurate and complete by Thursday weekly.
  • Assist Business Unit Manager with projects aligned to strategy as required.
  • Assist Business Unit Manager with preparing meeting packs for Board meetings and Exco meetings, including agendas, reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Tertiary Education:

-Diploma/ Degree/ Course Completed in Payroll Administration Tertiary Education

  • Knowledge of relevant Legislation

- Basic Conditions of Employment Act

-Employment Equity Act

-Labour Law - Sectoral Determination 9

-Occupational Health and Safety

-Liquor legislation

-Corporate Governance

 -Basic Conditions of Employment Act Sectoral Determination 9

 

  • Experience

-3 years’ experience in Payroll Administration

-3 years ‘experience in Financial Administration
