Managed People Solutions is Looking to hire a Course Coordinator for a well-known liquor company based in Cape Town.
Job Purpose
The Course Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that their courses are effectively developed, coordinated, managed and executed nationally including sales forecasting, driving sales to achieve targeted student numbers, planning and scheduling course dates per semester, coordination of course content development and maintenance, courseware procurement and stock management, wine sponsorship and procurement, lecture, host and invigilator booking, briefing, liaison and relationship building, venue booking and liaison, student data capturing and accuracy, student and lecturer feedback, exam facilitation, certification and graduation processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure overall delivery of every class of every course exceeds student expectation.
- Contribute towards the development a course specific sales and marketing strategy in conjunction with the team to create an effective push and pull strategy to achieve student numbers and sales targets as budgeted.
- Ensure that value and volume sales targets are achieved per month, per quarter, per semester and per year within budgeted margins.
- Implement detailed target market segmentation by course and region for effective targeting and sale pipeline conversion, ongoing.
- Collect, evaluate, and maintain all relevant incoming and acquired data, and translate relevant insights and learnings into action plans.
- Contribute towards the development of pricing and promotional pricing per course in line with costing strategy to ensure margin health.
- Ensure that all independent contractors are briefed, booked, and have all information regarding the course.
- Ensure that lecturers and facilitators are excellently informed in good time with all information on the course class, presentation, wines, students, and venue.
- Ensure that hosts are trained in standard execution and that their performance is monitored and assessed.
- Ensure that the student journey is seamless, professional, and engaging from first contact.
- Continuous maintenance and improvement of course content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and impact, ongoing.
- Ensure that all consumable and non-consumable courseware (example, manuals, glasses, spittoons, cause, and effect elements etc.) are maintained, monitored, and managed effectively to ensure stock on hand, issuing and returns nationally.
- Stay updated on industry knowledge and trends of wine in general including industry issues and news, consumer trends etc
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage ad hoc projects as directed
- Prepare weekly updates and quarterly Portfolio of Evidence providing an in-depth sale based visual and written overall insight into the status, progress, execution, feedback, and overall performance of your course/s.
- Contribute to annual budget planning and forecasting and tracking together with the principal.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary Education: Degree or Diploma in a related field eg: education and training, sales, marketing, tourism or hospitality
- Cape Wine Academy Certificate Course
- Certified Moderator and Examiner (Beneficial)
