Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join a premium liquor outlet in Cape Town, specialising in whisky and wine website sales and party services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high standards of organisation and customer service.
- Drive sales across in-store and online platforms (including wine and whisky website sales).
- Assist with planning and executing party service offerings.
- Manage administrative tasks such as stock control, orders, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth processing of online orders.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain store presentation and product knowledge.
- Handle customer queries and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications and experience
- Grade 12
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing or related would be an Advantage
- 2-3 Years’ experience in retail environment (FMCG)
- 1-2 Years’ experience in a assistant manager position
