Job Description

Managed People Solutions is seeking experienced and energetic Merchandisers to join our team during the busy peak season! This is a fantastic short-term opportunity (2 months) to showcase your merchandising skills and gain valuable retail experience with a leading national brand.

Successful candidates will be placed in various retail stores across Margate and Port Shepstone, ensuring our products are perfectly displayed and meet brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine stock to be merchandised and draw stock requirements.

  • Check product vintage, shelf quality, stock rotation, and price accuracy.

  • Execute merchandising activities as per the cycle brief.

  • Record and report on daily merchandising activities.

  • Provide feedback on customer queries, complaints, and requests.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and promotions.

  • Communicate effectively with store staff and team members.

  • Advise the RSM on out-of-stock products.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) – essential.

  • 1–2 years’ merchandising experience within the retail environment.

  • Vibrant personality with excellent communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Contract Duration: 2 Months (Peak Season Support)
Location: Margate / Port Shepstone, KZN
